Saturn Mahadasha is one of the most feared dashas. Saturn itself is the most feared planet. However, any planetary dasha has the potential to do damage or to give good results. Consider Saturn in affliction with Rahu in the 8th house for a Cancer ascendant. This Saturn is not friendly to the Lagna lord Moon, is quite strong due to placement in Aquarius, and is heavily afflicted due to Rahu’s presence near it. If this Saturn is 6th or 8th to the Lagna lord Moon, even more mental tension and anxiety will be visible in the Saturn dasha.

However, if it’s a Capricorn Ascendant chart, where Saturn is sitting with Venus in the 10th house, this becomes a very benefic placement and a lot of good results will be visible in Saturn dasha. Especially, if this Saturn dasha comes in the prime time of the life of the person, career will grow by leaps and bounds in Saturn dasha.

Saturn Dasha Results from experience
As for me, I faced Saturn’s mahadasha in my childhood. From 1 year to 20 years, I was going through Saturn mahadasha. Saturn is retrograde with Rahu in the 8th house in Capricorn, though it moves to the 7th house in the bhava chart. It goes to the 8th house in D9 as well, though Rahu’s affliction is not there in D9. Now, there were no major results for me, because there cannot be any major results of life in childhood. I did have weak health and a disturbed childhood/family environment, in some ways and this is the major result for most people when 8th house/Rahu afflicted planets’ mahadasha comes in childhood. Because there is no other major result that the Desh Kaal Patra (country, time, and individual) can allow in childhood, the only result that is allowed during the early part of life is chronic health issues.
